Frequently Asked Questions

You cannot have this treatment if you:

• Are pregnant
• Have an active skin infection in the area to be treated (including cold sores, impetigo, or fungal infection)
• Have open wounds, cuts, or broken skin in the treatment area
• Have active inflammatory skin conditions in the area being treated (such as acne flares, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis)
• Have a history of poor wound healing or abnormal scarring (including keloid scarring)
• Have had radiotherapy to the treatment area
• Have a known bleeding disorder
• Are currently unwell with fever or systemic illness
• Have a current or previous diagnosis of skin cancer in the treatment area
• Are currently under investigation or follow-up for suspected skin cancer

You cannot have botulinum toxin treatment if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have a known allergy to botulinum toxin or any of the ingredients in the product
• Have a neuromuscular condition, such as:
  • Myasthenia gravis
  • Lambert-Eaton syndrome
  • Motor neurone disease
• Have an active infection, inflammation, or skin condition at or near the injection site
• Are currently unwell with a fever or systemic illness
• Have had a previous severe reaction to botulinum toxin treat

We offer dermoscopic imaging of individual skin lesions, which are reviewed through a consultant-led teledermatology service.

This provides expert assessment and reassurance, either as a standalone service or where further evaluation is needed prior to treatment.

This service is £85 for the first lesion.
If you would like additional lesions assessed at the same appointment, these are £45 per lesion.

CryoPen is a treatment that uses a precise jet of cold gas to freeze and remove unwanted benign skin lesions.

It is suitable for conditions such as skin tags, warts and other common benign growths.

Cryotherapy starts from £90 for a small lesion, £110 for a medium lesion, and £120 for up to three small lesions.
If you have more lesions than this, pricing will be discussed with you on the day of your appointment.

Lesions are classified as small, medium or large depending on their size and thickness. This will be confirmed at your appointment. Small lesions are typically 1-3mm , medium lesions are 4-6mm and larger lesions are greater than 7mm.  Though both width and depth need to be considered and so 

we ask you to please book based on your best estimate and we can adjust this on the day if required.
